Gresham’s Pre-Prep Nursery is a small caring environment where staff can give attention to every child. An independent school nursery class within the Gresham's family of schools, the Nursery benefits from being within a school environment and takes advantage of Gresham's facilities including the swimming pool, theatre, library, ICT rooms and spacious grounds. Children can join the Nursery class after their third birthday either part time or for a full day. In their bright, cheerful and well equipped classrooms the children are taught by two fully qualified and experienced Nursery staff overseen by a qualified teacher. Children enjoy a variety of activities from music, dressing up, learning about growing their own vegetables in the School garden or having fun in the playground. The Nursery follows the Early Years curriculum providing a fun introduction to numbers and phonics before they start school. Government funding is available and childcare vouchers accepted. Children who attend Gresham's nursery can choose either to enter reception at Gresham's or choose an alternative school.
